This blog serves to help others who may be experiencing a journey similar to my own. I have found that when it comes to pregnancy and infant loss, each journey may be similar in nature but our stories are our own. My hope is that I can help another mother who may be struggling with something as difficult as Trisomy 18, and my own experience with related health problems such as polyhydramnios.

My beautiful second daughter, Tessa Faith, was born at 34 weeks, 6 days, at 11:09 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017, and passed into heaven minutes after birth in my arms. This blog is my personal journey of deciding to carry to “term” after a positive diagnosis of Trisomy 18 and related health problems that came with it.

I will be writing from the heart, and will be as transparent as possible as this is no easy discussion. This blog was started 6 weeks after my beautiful baby passed, and will begin from the first diagnosis. Thank you for reading, and for remembering my daughter.
